Hello Kitty Cafe (KOREA)
Alright, I’ll have to admit that I was a BIG fan of Hello Kitty when I was young… Now, I really don’t care much about it other than it brings back memories of how it used to be when I was in High School.
With that said, I wouldn’t mind going into one of these Hello Kitty Cafes especially when my own daughter adores them as well ;) *That might and might not be an excuse to go LoL*
So, from what I know, there are plenty of Hello Kitty Cafes all over the world. Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and even in United States!
I’ll focus more on the ones in Korea for this post since that’s the one that caught my attention when I was searching through the web.
I’m not sure if anyone would actually go to the cafe for food and I would bet that the food just taste average and overpriced. I would go just for the sake of taking pictures and seeing my daughter go ooooo and ahhhh over the overload of cuteness there. I’m imaging a mother and daughter trip already.

Origin of Hello Kitty Character:
Hello Kitty was designed by Yuko Shimizu and was added to the lineup of early Sanrio characters in 1974. The character's first appearance on an item was a vinyl coin purse in Japan where she was pictured sitting between a bottle of milk and a goldfish bowl. She first appeared in the United States in 1976.
