4th of July in Vermont
Ok, lets be honest, this is not EXACTLY what 4th of July is like in Vermont... BUT, it is how we had it yesterday on 4th of July here in Vermont.
We started the day with plans to venture out of our house to a nearby food market event and also to find a swimming hole (which I realized that's what locals are doing here in Vermont - instead of going to a swimming pool like we did --_--") We went to the fitness place swimming pool the other day because that's exactly what an OUTSIDER would do LOL. We did have fun though, on top of that we got to escape the heat wave that was building up in our house.
Anyway, back to 4th of July...
We had to do a self tape audition for Ladybug's Agency and that took up half of our day. Luckily we are at this new place that gives up this wonderful clean wall as our back drop (YAY) and I also found an old digital camera that I can record video easily. We use to go through such a hassle to clear our small apartment in NJ to get a semi-decent wall as our backdrop and then prop my cellphone to the right height to record a self tape....I DO NOT miss a bit of that.
After we finished recording 3 scenes, it was already 6PM. We decided to go to this beautiful spot that's called - the Dog River Swimming Hole. According to the website, it is in west Berlin (about 15 mins away). I plugged it into Waze and it took us 40 mins away, and of course it was not the right spot....We got lost and travelled even further....
To make long story short...we never got to the place. LOL.
BUT, we did get to view the glorious scenery that Vermont has to offer and also met a few friendly locals that chatted with us. So here's some of the scenery shots.
